4:00pm Eastern Time
2nd Wednesday of every month for posting the following month.
Any easy-to-read font, like Arial, Helvetica, Times New Roman, Garamond, etc.
Write your firsthand experience about bipolar. It could be your own diagnosis or that of someone you care for. I want to showcase the emotional range of experience of any of the following themes:
Reactions to the diagnosis
Prescriptions and side effects
Treatment plans: success and failure
Closing the chapter on crazy
Starting fresh and with more control, self-direction, and self-efficacy
If you have an image that you’d like attached to the post, submit a JPEG (25MB max). Otherwise, an image will be chosen from Unsplash.
Headshots and short bios can be included, if the writer so desires.
If you have a written work published and available on Books-A-Million, please include the ISBN number and title so an affiliate buy link can be included in the post.
I envision posting one piece per category (total of four pieces) each month. I’m keen on writing that’s clear, sharp, new, emotive, evocative, stylistic, immersive, and thought-provoking. As an editor and reader, I want to be left feeling as though I’ve walked a mile in someone else’s shoes.
